The Sages
Custom single-family residences
Bespoke homes on the upper lots, shaped with our founding architects from timber, stone, and glass — each set to frame the mountain at its door.

Mountain Village · Colorado
A legacy residential club for a limited circle of families — where the mountain, and the way you live within it, belong entirely to you.
The Ethos
Tehaus was drawn for those who measure luxury in quiet, in access, and in time returned. There are no crowds and no queues — only a handful of families who share a single, extraordinary mountain and the people who care for it.
Every detail is arranged before you arrive and left undisturbed when you go. The fire is lit, the skis are tuned, the table is set. What remains is the part that cannot be arranged: the light on the ridge, the hush of new snow, the years your children will remember.

The Place
Set on a private shoulder above Mountain Village, Tehaus looks out over the San Sophia range and down into the box canyon of Telluride. Aspen glades give way to open bowls; alpine lakes appear where the trees end. It is, by any measure, one of the most beautiful corners of the American West — and here, it is uncommonly quiet.

The Residences
A limited collection of residences, each shaped from timber, stone, and glass by our founding architects — and each with the mountain at its door.

The Club
Private access to the gondola and the powder beyond. Your skis are waiting; your boots are warmed.
A hearth-warmed gathering house with a members' table, cellar, and a terrace that opens onto the peaks.
Hot mineral pools, forest saunas, and treatments drawn from the mountain's own quiet rituals.
A dedicated team for backcountry lines, alpine climbs, fly-fishing, and summer trails on horseback.
The Explorers Club for the youngest members — from snow school to stargazing and craft.
One call arranges the jet, the chef, the guide, and the fire lit before you arrive.

A mountain course, kept for a few.
Membership
Membership at Tehaus is extended by invitation and secured with a residence. It carries full access to the club, the mountain, and the people who make a life here effortless — for you, and for the generations who follow.
